Our Leadership
Scott Klonowski, President
Scott began his journey in the insurance business in 1993. After several years of selling group health insurance for a small Property & Casualty agency, Scott started Klonowski Agency, Inc. in 2002. In 2012, Scott founded My1HR, a Human Resource Administrative software platform, with his friend and business partner, Glenn Leppo. In 2013, My1HR pivoted to building out connectivity to HealthCare.gov for insurance carriers. In early 2014, My1HR rolled out its broker product, INSXCloud. In the years to come, thousands of insurance brokers relied on INSXCloud to enroll hundreds of thousands of consumers in individual medical plans through HealthCare.gov. Scott sold My1HR in January of 2018.
In 2020, Mikayla joined her husband in Charleston, S.C. Her career in Medicare began as a customer service role at a national Medicare insurance agency. Mikayla worked through the company all the way to agency manager, overseeing both the sales and service teams. Mikayla recognized an opportunity to blend her passion for seniors with her desire to contribute to the operational expansion of Hickory Hill Insurance Agency.
Mikayla Klozotsky, VP of Operations
Jason is a United States Air Force veteran who earned a top-secret security clearance while working on the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. In 1998, after completing his service he returned to Charleston, SC, to join his family’s insurance agency. They have been an independent insurance agency since 1989, which allows them to build the best solutions for their clients. Upon his father’s retirement in 2014, Jason became president of the company. Jason has always had a passion for having a vast knowledge of the Medicare program and guiding people through it.

Tim is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) with more than thirty years of experience in the health insurance business. He was a sales manager for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and a VP of sales for Cigna Healthcare. His expertise includes individual health, group health, and Medicare insurance. He has been an independent insurance agent since 2001 and has helped thousands of individuals navigate the insurance marketplace, specializing in helping individuals with their choices for Medicare coverage.
